Terms of Service
Last updated: 1 February 2026
1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using the AI Reception service ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of a dental practice or other organisation, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organisation to these terms.
2. Description of Service
AI Reception provides an AI-powered phone receptionist service designed for UK dental practices. The Service includes automated call answering, appointment booking, patient enquiry handling, call recording and transcription, and integration with dental practice management software.
3. Subscriptions and Payment
The Service is offered on a monthly subscription basis in British Pounds (GBP). All plans include a 14-day free trial. Payment is processed securely through Stripe. You may cancel your subscription at any time; the Service will remain active until the end of your current billing period.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Service only for legitimate dental practice reception purposes. You must not use the Service for any unlawful purpose, to provide medical or clinical advice (the AI is not a medical professional), or in any way that could damage or impair the Service.
5. Data Protection
You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the Service complies with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. This includes informing patients that calls may be recorded and processed by an AI system. We provide a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) for all subscribers.
6. Limitation of Liability
The AI receptionist is not a substitute for qualified dental or medical professionals. AI Reception Ltd shall not be liable for any clinical decisions made based on information provided by the AI, any missed or incorrectly handled emergency calls, or any indirect, consequential, or incidental damages arising from the use of the Service.
7. Service Availability
We aim for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We will notify you of planned maintenance in advance. We recommend maintaining a backup plan for call handling during any service disruptions.
8. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
